Liberty Bible will return in 2012 to serve at Tandala Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Team members will lead in ongoing training and education of hospital staff and students in the areas of medicine and dentistry. Potential skills/specialties include: Opthalmologist or Optometrist, Orthopaedic surgeons, general surgeons and possibly physical therapists, lab, and HIV/AIDS awareness. Tandala Hospital is part of the Evangelical Free Church Ministry in the Congo.

Japan

This is an opportunity to serve on a short-term team to Ishinomaki to help Liberty Bible Church supported missionaries, Andy & Lorna Gilbert. The Gilberts relocated to northern Japan to minister to the many who lost their homes and families in the 2011 Earthquake/Tsunami. Anticipated volunteer opportunities include construction and relational ministries such as: ministering with music, serving coffee, teaching english, crafts with women, etc.

The Joni and Friends camp is an opportunity to serve those with disabilities. The camp is on the gorgeous grounds of the Maranatha Conference Center in Muskegon, MI, on Lake Michigan. Christ's message is clearly taught to each age group in the morning program; afternoons are for family fun (tubing, horseback riding, zip-line, climbing wall, spa, etc.). Participants for the short-term project do no need prior training in disabilities in order to serve. Download your application here!

Liberty's partnership with ABCCOP, a Filipino denomination, is developed each year as we have representatives attend the annual conference in the Philippines. We are able to meet and hear the heart of the missionaries and stories of God working  in an unreached people group. This team will return with pictures and stories to increase awareness of the needs and prayers for our partners in ministry.

WinterFest, InterVarsity

Every winter hundreds of college students from Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana gather to be challenged and stretched in their faith. Liberty Bible CHurch is serving InterVarsity by providing childcare for the staff, administrative support during the conference, and intercessory prayer. Download the application here.

YOUTH MISSIONS

Sr. High Missions Trip

In the summer of 2011 Liberty entered into a 3 year, 4 trip relationship with the Bread of Life church in San Franciso, Costa Rica. Last year Kevin Earhart led the group that partnered with Liberty's missionaries Lisandro and Michele Montenegro. Kevin will be returning with another Senior High Youth team to help theis church continue in developing a discipleship-based youth ministry.

Can you be a caring friend, a supportive teammate, or a discerning guide? The Sr. High youth will be serving at Camp Ray Bird in South Bend working with inner city kids, ages 8-15. They will be working as counselors with an experienced counselor.
