Shoe boxes may be turned in at the Bookstore on Sundays,
Nov. 7, 14, & 21 from 8:00 am - 12:15 pm


OCC is a missions project of Samaritan’s Purse that Liberty has participated in for the last 7 years. During the first 3 Sundays of November, gift-filled shoe boxes will be received and sent on to children in poverty around the world. Last year over 8 million children in 107 countries received these shoe boxes along with the Gospel message. 840,566 of them made profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through a 12-lesson discipleship program called "The Greatest Journey." Operation Christmas Child is training teachers from countries around the world to mentor children in the truths of God. Thousands of teachers are leading children through this foundational cirriculum (in their native language) that is being produced by Samaritan's Purse.

These are not just boxes of toys, school supplies, hygiene items and clothing, but "Gospel Opportunities" for children to learn about Jesus - the greatest gift of all.
