Purpose: To pair incoming international student at Valparaiso University with local Christian families with the goal that they would get to know an American family who would actively help them in their adjuestment to a new country.

This is a great opportunity for your entire family to make a Christian impact on an international student's life.

Both families and students will fill out a Questionnaire which will facilitate the matching process. Families must also sign the Statement of Faith.

2. Attend the International Student Welcome Party at Valparaiso University - East-side Union Patio, outside the Cafeteria doors on Saturday, August 20, at
5:00 pm. Here you will be able to meet many of the new and returning international students. Darrell can answer any further questions.

3. Attend Liberty's Friendship Families Orientation Meeting on Sunday,
August 21st at 9:30 am or 11:00 am, room 140-D. The orientation will better prepare you for being a friend to the international students and help you in relating to those from a different culture.
